Fave Friday | SNOO Crib

Hi everyone! It’s been a while. I have totally been neglecting my blog but pregnancy with a toddler is no joke, so I’ve been taking some much needed time to slow down and focus on Hudson. I’m happy to be back though and am thrilled to be sharing this Fave Friday product with you today. I bet you’ve seen it circling around a bit because they just started shipping them out and they’re really rather cool, not to mention easy on the eyes. Since we had such a difficult time with H’s newborn sleep schedule I jumped at the opportunity to try one of these beauties out. For those that don’t know, my husband is in the Coast Guard and is gone quite a bit so anything that promotes better sleeping, I’m all ears!

The SNOO crib was designed by Swiss designer Yves Behar after renowned pediatrician, Dr. Harvey Karp, approached him wanting to take his ideas from his well known book, The Happiest Baby on the Block, and apply that methodology to an actual sleeping device. Any parent knows that sleep is pretty non-existent with a newborn but the Snoo prides itself in boosting sleep with soothing white noise and movement our babies loved before birth while also being the safest baby crib ever made. It is designed with a swaddle built into the mattress so that your baby sleeps safely on their back to reduce the risk of SIDS, has mesh walls to maximize comfort, safety and breathability, and chooses the best motion/white noise based on your babies mood. Interested yet? The smart sleeper crib is intended for infants up to six months old and is sold online (here) through parent company Happiest Baby. They offer a 30-day return policy with free shipping both ways, so if it just isn’t working out for you and your family, no big deal. We all know that every baby is different but I have high hopes for this special product.

Having not experienced its full potential yet (our little girl is due April 2), I cannot tell you wether it has been successful for us or not, but I will be sure to share an update with you all once we get a chance to use the crib. In the meantime, if you have had success with the Snoo crib I’d love to hear about it! Feel free to share your story in the comments below or shoot me a message through my contact form.
