Fave Friday | Tuft & Needle

The weather has been super gloomy and wet so staying dry, warm and comfy has been at the top of our list. It’s incredibly hard to find that motivation you’re looking for when it looks like 7pm all day, am I right? Unless there is snow on the ground, you can definitely find me snuggled up for a day of Netflix. Lucky for me, the weather experts are calling for La Nina in Alaska which hopefully means snow is on the way! Hey, perfect timing for a new comfy mattress huh? We have been on the lookout for a new mattress ever since the majority of our household goods were taken over by mold during our move to Alaska. We had someone take a look at our bed and they gave it the all clear, but I don’t trust it. Mold is a sneaky sob!

Living in Juneau can be quite frustrating when you want to buy a large item if you can’t find what you want locally. So when I found out Tuft & Needle shipped to Alaska I did a major happy dance! I knew I needed to get in on the action. They thoughtfully agreed to send us a King for our review and it has quickly become a house favorite. If you haven’t heard of them (have you been living under a rock?!) they’re 100% made in America and make buying a mattress easier than easy by delivering it right to your front door within a couple of days, no salesman necessary. It comes in a tall skinny box, what!, and within seconds of taking it out you’ll have yourself a twin(XL), full, queen, or (CAL)king size memory foam mattress! How cool is that?

Since we’ve been sleeping on it for a couple of months I can honestly say that all of the positive hype is for real. My husband and I are both very impressed! I was a little skeptical when I first saw these going around because how the heck does a good quality mattress fit in that sized box??? Well folks, it does and it is well worth it. Not too firm but not too soft, it somehow meets right in the middle for the perfect match. And the material it’s made of is not only incredibly soft but it draws heat from your body to disperse it out of the mattress leaving you feeling cooler while you sleep. If you’re still not sold even after finding and reading thousands of other positive reviews you can test one by visiting one of their two showrooms in San Francisco or Downtown Phoenix. But trust me when I say, I don’t think that’s necessary.

Good weather or bad weather, this mattress makes getting out of bed that much harder.
